NAPSA & NHIMA
Monthly pension (5% + 5%, capped K1,861.80) and health insurance (1% + 1%) contributions — both due by the 10th of the following month.
PACRA
Annual returns within 3 months of incorporation anniversary, beneficial ownership declarations, and changes to directors or shareholders.
Ministry of Labour & Social Security
Skills Development Levy (SDL) at 0.5% employer-only, plus employment reporting obligations for businesses with formal employees.

What are the key monthly ZRA filing deadlines in Zambia?
PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA and SDL are all due by the 10th of the following month. Turnover tax and withholding tax are due by the 14th, and VAT is due by the 18th of the following month. All returns and payments are made through ZRA TaxOnline.
When is the annual income tax return due in Zambia?
The annual income tax return (ITF1A for companies) is due by 21 June each year for the charge year ending 31 December. Provisional tax is paid quarterly on 10 April, 10 July, 10 October and 10 January.
What is the penalty for filing PAYE or VAT late?
Late PAYE attracts a penalty of K180/day plus 5% interest per month on the unpaid tax. Late VAT attracts K300/day plus 0.5% daily interest. PACRA annual returns filed late attract K300 plus possible deregistration.
Does this calendar cover PACRA and beneficial ownership deadlines?
Yes. The calendar shows PACRA annual returns (due within 3 months of your incorporation anniversary) and the annual beneficial ownership update due 31 March. Filter by "Limited Company" to see corporate filings.
